Girafe

Description

Girafe, nestled in the heart of Paris's Cité de l'Architecture, pays homage to the traditions of yesteryear with precise, friendly service, and features seafood and fish from our coasts. Designed by Joseph Dirand in the spirit of the 1930s, Girafe offers a hushed decor with cream banquettes, a marble bar, tropical plants and original pilasters. An elegant, surprising and carefree Parisian ambience. As for the terrace, it offers a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Girafe's cuisine, both simple and opulent, blends gourmandise and urbanity. This "Parisian seahouse" prepares fish, shellfish and crustaceans in all manner of ways: on ultra-fresh platters, in raw versions such as ceviche or sashimi, or expertly gilded (lobster, sole, turbot...) depending on what arrives. A cuisine that navigates between heritage and modernity.
